Sandystar fulfils the highest quality requirements and it is claimed to provide twice the fineness with the same length of exposure, which creates optimum light and shadow detail and adapts to the required quality criteria that can be calculated and controlled.
Sandyscreen added that Sandystar also works on existing equipment without dot closure, and produces no shifts in tonal value and no loss of colour shades, whilst ensuring plate repeatability identical to the original job data.
Sandyscreen also believes that Sandystar is an alternative to FM and hybrid screening and replaces the old AM screens.
