Narrow Web Laser Cutting For Label Producers
The first Spartanics Finecut Narrow Web Laser Cutting System for label manufacturing and other narrow web applications are now available.
Stack says, "The Jetrion 4000 is the first narrow web digital press that delivers real economic value for run lengths up to 50,000 labels and beyond".
"Because the high-precision Spartanics Finecut Laser Cutting Systems avoid the time delay and costs of tool-based cutting technology, they enable users to fully realise the flexibility of Jetrion 4000 UV inkjet printers".
"Now, different size kiss-cut labels can be created on the fly, either by using the Spartanics system in-line with the Jetrion 4000 or off-line - with jobs proceeding from artwork to finished product within minutes".
The Spartanics Finecut Laser Cutting System provides unsurpassed registration precision and versatile handling of a wide range of substrates without the burn-throughs, pinholes and other defects created by systems with less capable laser control software.
The Finecut's precise registration helps to cut costs by allowing the printer to use less ink.
Kiss cuts, through cuts, engraving, serial numbering, scoring, scroll slitting, and perforating are readily handled by the Spartanics Finecut in a wide range of substrates including polycarbonates, vinyls, adhesives, thin flimsy materials, among others.
The Jetrion 4000 Series of UV inkjet printers offers narrow web converters an affordable, full-colour alternative to toner-based digital printers.
Web converters can now harness all the advantages of lower running costs, superior production capabilities of UV inks, and flexibility of inkjet technology for applications such as labels, tags, forms and tickets.
