Spartanics enhances screen printing technology

A Spartanics product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Sep 4, 2008

The Systec Fineprint flatbed screen printing line from Spartanics is claimed to be designed for unprecedented throughput in roll-to-roll screen printing technology.

The system is aimed at the production of electroluminescent displays, membrane switch assemblies, flexible circuits, thin film solar photovoltaics, biosensors, RFID antennas and connectors and other screen printed products.

With fully electronic controls that eliminate manual adjustments, the Systec Fineprint flatbed screen printing system is configured to dimensions that will allow optimised print formats for faster throughput for small to large print layouts.

The system also features synchronised vacuum release on printing table to speed throughput of large format jobs, job set-up in just a few keystrokes and storage of job parameters for up to 2,500 separate jobs.

A servo drive motor is used for squeegee assembly for small-sized images with only 0.04in (1.016mm) gap between first and second prints.

The system also has a screen holder design with less than 1mm distance between the screen and printing table.
