Germany-based SCP Software has released the latest version of its file-to-print software for large-format plotters DaylightRIP 3.8.
Germany-based SCP Software has released the latest version of its file-to-print software for large-format plotters DaylightRIP 3.8.
DaylightRIP 3.8 has a number of new features and enhancements, including a faster way of composing and nesting print sets, automated paper-save nesting in the RIP server and a new viewer and editor with 1:1 spy window, text insertion, eraser and other functions.
It also has improvements in the colour engine and enhanced printer emulation with TruCAD, as well as an on-screen printer gamut limitation warning.
It is also capable of soft proofing and includes new drivers for the Graphtec JW-1000 and JW-1100 printers, making a total of nearly 100 available native printer drivers.
Aimed at the technical, GIS, graphic arts and reprographics markets, DaylightRIP comes in several stand-alone and network packages.
