The latest versions of SCP's file-to-print software, DaylightRIP and the large-format colour copy products, Colorado and Copy Systems have some new features.

New softproofing and gamut-warning functions enable the user to check whether the colours of a selected file are within his printing system's colour gamut and to see to what extent the colours on the user's monitor screen match the colours that the plotter generates.

In addition, the 'apply filtering' function shows the effects of a manually created colour filter on a selected file, said the company.

SCP has also added support for the Gretag Eye-One spectrophotometer, while a driver for the ICColour of the same manufacturer is currently being prepared.
