SCP Software has linked its own large-format scanning and copying software Colorado (also known as CopySystems) to the document management solution DvTDM.

SCP Software has linked its own large-format scanning and copying software Colorado (also known as CopySystems) to the document management solution DvTDM.

The newly released software version Colorado 2005 allows scanning of large-format documents directly into DvTDM, guaranteeing a smooth, easy and efficient workflow.

In DvTDM the user has to define define what kind of file identification data he needs for his scanned documents.

These parameters, such as file name and storage path, he can then enter in the scan-to-DvTDM section of Colorado 2005.

This way, Colorado and DvTDM seamlessly fit together as a user-defined, fully integrated solution for scanning and managing large-format documents.

DvTDM (Data Viewer Total Document Management), developed by the Australian company Practical Programs and distributed in Europe by SCP, is an easy-to-use document server, compatible with all well-established office solutions such as Access, Interbase, Oracle, etc.

The software leaves original document names and storage structures unchanged, using these structures as a framework around which it builds the database.

DvTDM offers entry-level licenses, allowing the customer to introduce the solution into his organisation with only a limited number of documents and users.
