In a joint effort to increase their share of the CAD and reprographics markets by offering a printing and copying system, Mutoh Europe and SCP Software have formed a partnership.

In a joint effort to increase their share of the CAD and reprographics markets by offering a printing and copying system, Mutoh Europe and SCP Software have formed a partnership for the Mutoh Drafstation RJ-900C and RJ-901C printers .

The new partnership involves Mutoh Europe in selling two specially designed SCP software packages through its EMEA-wide authorised sales partners.

DaylightRIP PS Mutoh Edition is a stand-alone RIP software for raster and Postscript/PDF/EPS files, including one driver for the Mutoh Drafstation, pre-defined calibration profiles and an calibration wizard for additional profiling.

Together with the Mutoh Drafstation, DaylightRIP PS Mutoh Edition is claimed to provide a suitable combination for high-end CAD applications.

Colorado MX Mutoh Edition links the Mutoh Drafstation to a large-format scanner, to form a scan-to-print system.

The software supports VIDAR, Contex, Colortrac and Graphtec scanners and includes one Drafstation driver, as well as a black and white LED printer driver, allowing the customer to produce colour and monochrome copies, said SCP Software.

For both software packages, SCP Software said that version upgrades will be available.
