Known for printing hard-back books, Butler and Tanner is expanding its commercial print operations by producing annual reports and brochures for customers such as Shell and BMW.
Therefore, the company believed it was essential for it to have complete visibility of customer information through a single, integrated view of operations.
The Sanderson software is claimed to increase business efficiency by automating and streamlining wider operations.
Replacing two incumbent software products, Unity will enable Butler and Tanner to identify cost saving opportunities, to reduce overheads and improve utilisation of resources.

The integration of business processes is set to optimise purchasing performance, generate cost savings and improve supplier collaboration, said Sanderson.
Chris White, the finance director at Butler and Tanner explained: "The decision to operate the group under the single identity of Butler and Tanner shaped our requirement for a suitable MIS system to support the business.
