Sun Wins Flexo Supplier Awards Again

Printer members of the European Flexographic Technical Association (EFTA) have again honoured Sun Chemical with a silver award in the Supplier of the Year Category.

Printer members of the European Flexographic Technical Association (EFTA) have again honoured Sun Chemical with a silver award in the Supplier of the Year Category.

The award signifies the quality of Sun Chemical's products and consistent customer service believes the company and it marks the fourth time that EFTA has honoured Sun Chemical.

Presented to Tony Palmer, Sun Chemical liquid inks' business director at the EFTA Awards in Birmingham, the award was based on nominations from flexo converters across the industry.

Palmer said : "As an industry leader we pride ourselves on consistently providing the best products and offering the best service to our customers." Additionally, Sun Chemical sponsored the 2005 awards for flexible packaging, which were were won by the OPM Group for Clinton Cards 'happy birthday'in the narrow web line and screen category.

James Townsend and Sons won the narrow web process category for Maxim Orange and Lemon, whilst EBR's Warburton's Cheese Topped Rolls and Alcan Packaging Cumbria's Anthon Berg milk chocolate and hazelnuts shared the prize in the medium web process category.

Amcor Flexibles Evesham, with its Kellogs Lite Bites 6 Variety won the wide web line and screen category, whilst Amcor Flexibles Evesham also won the wide web process category for its Purina Go Cat Adult Chicken Duck and Rabbit 2kg pack.
