Express process inks are claimed to meet both the need for productivity and versatility in one ink system.

Changes within the commercial and publication market place can mean not only long runs on straight and perfecting presses but also the need to work and turn some short run jobs in a matter of a few minutes without the worry of set off and marking in the stack or on the press.

The inks, like others available from Sun Chemical, are based on vegetable oil chemistry, maximising the use of renewable resource materials, which allow printers to conform to the most demanding environmental standards, said Sun.

The company said that the inks are claimed to perform well on all straight printing and long perfecting presses and can be used on the majority of substrates for long run and short run work on all sheetfed offset presses.

When used with Sunfount fountain solutions and Suncoat coatings, Express can increase productivity without compromising versatility.
