Mid-East Flexo Installation Uses New System
Plasto-Sac, a growing packaging producer in the Middle East, is installing a Comexi wide-web CI flexographic press designed to use Sun Chemical's patented Wetflex EC printing process.
Solarscreen Meteor combines very high opacity with new levels of print lay and over-printability and with elevated adhesion and cure speed.
All this enables Solarscreen Meteor to deliver the printing speed and productivity required for economic rotary screen production in a modern printing environment, while significantly improving print quality.
Solarscreen Meteor is also designed for ease of use, resisting settlement and separation in the container.
Silicone-free opaque whites are also offered within the Solarscreen range, giving improved overprinting with all types of UV narrow web inks.
With newly designed products in standard and high cure speed profiles, Solarscreen silicone-free whites now enable optimised print quality even at normal rotary line speeds.
Jonathan Sexton, Sun Chemical's business manager - Narrow Web Labels, said: "High impact labelling can be the difference between a product selling or staying on the shelf".
