Sun Chemical joins Keating to develop packaging

A Sun Chemical Europe product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Sep 23, 2008

Sun Chemical has joined Keating Specialist Cylinders to develop and market a gravure packaging product.

The partnership will focus on Keating producing engraved cylinders to deliver Sun Chemical's inks and coatings for the gravure and anilox markets, and aims to develop their products in the metal decorating, specialist coatings, decorative print, micro-emboss and security printing sectors.

In 2007, Sun Chemical developed a range of inks and lacquers known as Tactile.

When applied to printed packaging products using a Keating gravure cylinder, the inks provide a high-quality finish.
