Sun Chemical has hosted the first annual Rapide conference for the 13 members of its Rapide distributor network, to share knowledge and industry best practice and increase its effectiveness.
The company said that the conference provided the platform for members to learn about products likely to be introduced in the future.
The team discussed how commercial printers could benefit from customer support delivered locally.
Presentations were also made on how consumables could complement the ink business and key areas where the Rapide network could add value to the market.
Sun Chemical said that the Rapide network, established in October 2007, consists of selected partners to supply the company's products to commercial offset printers, with the added benefit of a quick, local service.
