Secomak's hot air blowers are claimed to provide a constant stream of hot air at temperatures up to 300 degrees C for drying, heating and curing.

Typical applications include print and coating drying - particularly for water-based inks - web drying and heating the interiors of tanks, drums and containers to speed up drying.

Providing a claimed high power output in a compact size, the hot air blowers can be added to existing processes with minimal disruption, said Secomak.

The blowers are also said to be suitable for testing products and components at high temperatures and for creating a 'hot box' without the need to install a full oven.

A range of control equipment maintains the temperature at a set level and also provides over-temperature protection should the airflow become blocked or a fault occur.

A variety of different filters, including HEPA filters, can be added to the fan inlet to provide a clean source of air where that is crucial for the process involved, said Secomak.

Standard combinations of fan and heater are available but other fans and blowers may also be used from Secomak's range, added the company.
