Steve Kelly, managing director of Sherwood added: "This agreement enables us to combine the Datalase marking chemistry with our specialised ink making technology and global infrastructure to offer a total coding and marking service to our clients." He continued: "Sicpa has the expertise and knowledge in the inks and printing markets to help make Datalase available to a wider market.
The company has a global commitment to quality, innovation, added value for the customer and the environment that complements our product perfectly." Datalase combines chemistry, substrate conversion and laser energy, using very low power laser light for the high speed printing of images.
