Datalase (formerly Sherwood Technology) has appointed Kevin Murray as vice president and general manager of the company's new North American headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Datalase (formerly Sherwood Technology) has appointed Kevin Murray as vice president and general manager of the company's new North American headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Murray will work with established and new team members to launch a new development of the Datalase process to North America.

He will work on strategic business development to help Datalase expand in the regon, in addition to locating and staffing a local sales and distribution facility.

The company said that Murray has 16 years of experience in the coding and marking and general packaging industries.

For the past 12 years, he has held various sales and management roles at both Domino Amjet and NTS.

He also has a background in bar coding and various printing technologies with a focus on the food and beverage sector.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Management and a minor degree in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta (USA).

Steve Kelly, the chief executive officer of Datalase, said: "We are demonstrating our commitment to the North American market with the appointment of Kevin.

With his impressive background, he will be an invaluable addition to our expanding team.
