The expanded Widnes facility features new research and development and physics laboratories, which have been fully equipped to enable future product developments.
The redesigned facility now features a customer meeting area, as well as a dedicated customer demonstration laboratory.
In addition, the Widnes facility houses a new sales office.
Datalase said that it has developed a number of commercial applications utilising its process and it claimed that it is now poised to launch new integrated techniques.
The company plans to launch complete systems for a range of product identification applications, including label replacement and on-product marking.
Steve Kelly, Datalase's chief executive officer, explained: "With the expansion of our UK facility, we are now fully prepared to proceed with the launch of our innovative integrated systems and also take advantage of new and exciting opportunities in the future.
