Datalase' Senior Recruits Expand US Operation

Datalase has appointed Chuck Pemble and Mike Sorvino to Datalase Inc in the USA as national sales manager for USA and laser product manager, respectively.

Datalase has appointed Chuck Pemble and Mike Sorvino to Datalase Inc in the USA as national sales manager for USA and laser product manager, respectively.

Within his new role, Pemble's responsibilities include providing strategic input for Datalase's growth within the USA and he will also be instrumental in the sales growth of the company's products and development in the US market.

He has joined Datalase as a technical expert responsible for advising customers on technical queries regarding the Datalase technology, whilst a key part of his role will be to advise and specify correct Datalase process and laser system for each application.

Datalase said Pemble previously held various positions including national account manager, national sales manager and distribution manager for 12 years at Domino Amjet the manufacturer of laser ink jet marking systems.

He was also part of Domino's management team responsible for the short and long term business strategies for the US market.

In his role with Domino he also developed business relationships with global manufacturers in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries, as well as emerging sectors.

Sorvino's experience extends to the food and beverage packaging industry, where he held various positions, including machine design, product development and project management.

In his role, he provided expertise in the design and development of machines for the packaging and food and beverage sectors.
