Datalase Gears-Up European Sales With New Man

Olaf Jepsen has been appointed by Datalase as its new European sales manager.

In his new role, Jepson will be in charge of promoting the Datalase laser imaging systems throughout mainland Europe.

The company added that he will focus on establishing credibility for the Datalase products with current and prospective customers to optimise the company's market share and help achieve its strategic objectives.

Jepson will also be responsible for achieving successful market penetration of Datalase's existing product range, as well as initiating targeted introductions of new products.

Datalase said that Jepson has knowledge of the European laser industry after 20 years' experience in managerial sales positions for companies such as 4G Systems and Altec.

He has a track record of building strong relationships with customers, achieving deals and addressing potential problems before they occur.

Jepson is also said to have worked in multi-national operations, in addition to training and managing people from various technical and cultural backgrounds.
