Colour Printer Wins Forest
Accreditations
Statexcolourprint has become the only company in the north east of England and one of only a few national companies to gain two international environmental accreditations - FSC and PEFC.
The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditations indicate the north east printing firm's dedication and commitment to environmental issues Statex added that the awards also allow Statex to promote the sustainable management of forests because they prove the company is adhering to strict standards, having completed a series of processes whilst undergoing a thorough external verification process

Adare Halcyon has secured the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard and has also just upgraded its quality management system to comply with the new ISO 9001:2000.
Sue Maitland, finance and human resources director at Statex, commented: "In this industry, environmental issues are top of the agenda.
Being the only company in the north east to abide by these standards, shows we are committed to promoting a better and green environment."
