Stibo Workflow Smooths Production For Magazines
Stibo Graphic, a leader in the catalogue printing and pre-press industry has announced the launch of a new workflow system, Stibo ePublish, designed for magazine publishers.
Hans Damgaard, managing director at Stibo Graphic said: "Our decision to discontinue activities at the sheet printing facility in Aarhus, Denmark on May 1 was in order for us to focus all activity on the web offset printing plant in Horsens.
That decision has been supported by an additional £ multi-million investment, including the new press, as well as a project to expand the production and administration buildings in Horsens which currently cover 25,000 square metres." He added that the new press would enable the company to strengthen its set up and increase flexibility for large-scale publishers of catalogues, directories and magazines.
The new machine will be commissioned in May 2005.
