Silicon Systems has appointed two new members of staff to its technical support and product development departments.

Silicon Systems has appointed two new members of staff to its technical support and product development departments.

The company said that David Nunn brings a wealth of IT system support expertise from working for IBM, Oracle and most recently Harts District Council to his new role as support manager for Silicon Systems.

Using his experience in mission critical support gained working with the banking and airport industries he will be ensuring that the levels of service Silicon Systems' support clients are maintained.

Nunn commented: "The graphics industry is constantly finding new ways of using IT to aid with the complex tasks associated with file size, data management and global communications.

It's my responsibility to ensure that Silicon Systems continue to have the highest levels of knowledge and expertise in order to fully support these fast paced developments." Jon Mann joins the company from Countersnipe Technologies where he was involved in developing IT security systems in his role as product engineer.

He will be using his experience in IT and software engineering to lead Silicon System's software development team.

He said: "This is a very exciting time as the graphic industry is incorporating more process and workflow technology and I am looking forward to bringing my expertise to this role.".
