St Ives Web Division has won the contract to print UK music weekly, NME for the UK's leading consumer magazine publisher, IPC Media As the biggest-selling and most respected music weekly in the world with a readership of almost 400,000 people, St Ives believes that NME is a complement to St Ives' expanding portfolio of titles

The full-colour, 72-page NME will be printed at St Ives Peterborough site with a weekly print-run of 150,000 copies.

Commenting on why St Ives was awarded the latest contract by IPC Media, Jasper Scott, manufacturing director at IPC Media, said: "IPC has had a long association with St Ives Peterborough, which has printed TV and Satellite Week for us for many years.

The company has an excellent understanding of the needs of weekly news-based magazines and it has a track-record for reliability that is second to none." Ian Smith, general manager of St Ives Peterborough, added: "St Ives has always worked extremely closely with our partners to provide creative, value-added services according to their individual requirements.

This goes hand-in-hand with our expertise in project management to ensure that time-critical products are delivered on-time and to the highest levels of printing excellence." And he added: "St Ives Peterborough has an established and proven position in the consumer and business magazine sector, as well as the commercial sector." NME will be printed on 52gsm Improved News stock and can be produced on either the Goss M850 or MAN Roland Lithoman IV presses, before being saddle-stitched on St Ives Ferag stitching line.
