Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jun 20, 2008

St Ives Web, the magazine printing division of St Ives plc, has won TNT magazine's three-year print contract.

The St Ives Peterborough site will be responsible for printing and distributing the A4 saddle stitched weekly title, which is printed on Goss M-850 and MAN Roland Lithoman presses and finished using a Ferag high-speed stitcher.

Jim Murray-Jones, the chief executive officer of TNT Publishing, said: "We needed a print supplier and partner that we could trust to meet our very tight deadlines and unique distribution requirements.

TNT magazine is distributed free every Monday morning at 700 outlets across London and because of the nature of the magazine, in which we include international news and sports results, the files aren't delivered to the printer until late Sunday morning." He continued: "St Ives' group resources offer the peace of mind that our magazine will hit the streets on time no matter what and the company's commitment to quality and customer service means that our magazine is well looked after." Established in 1983 TNT magazine is read by Antipodeans and South Africans travelling to and living in London (UK).

The weekly title is distributed free in London and other cities across the country.

Tony Ayles, the sales director of St Ives Web division, said: "We are looking forward to developing our partnership with TNT magazine, to ensure that we fulfil its brief to meet TNT's time sensitive deadlines, requirement of high quality printing, provision of added value products and help to ensure supplier stability and reliability for the future.".
