A Skanem product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Nov 22, 2007

Skanem's new LaBora machine, first introduced in April 2007, is generating a great deal of interest in the market for label application.

Great interest for the new Skanem LaBora.

Divisional Manager at Skanem System in Linkoping, Marcus Persson says: 'By having this new, flexible machine on offer, we are able to meet customer needs of fast and secure label application in a unique manner.

The interest so far has been great and we have already had several enquiries from existing as well as new customers'.

Flexible and fast.

LaBora is available in four versions depending on how the label is applied to the product.

The labels applicator with printer is built by Skanem's system division in Linkoping, Sweden and is a flexible applicator, which works with high precision for automatic in-line labelling.

The machine has increased performance with higher speed as well as larger reel diameters.

The big news with this machine is that the customer can choose which type of printer they want to incorporate and the machine is able to print up to 100 labels per minute.

The standard printers incorporated are Intermec and Zebra printers, but even Sato and Datamax can be used in this machine.
