Bezier Beats The Rest To Retain ASDA Account
Retail media producer Bezier, has retained the prestigious point of purchase (POP) account for one of Britain's leading retailers, ASDA.
The prestigious award was officially announced yesterday and it will be followed by a winners' celebration ceremony at London's Gladstone Library on April 22 and a reception at Buckingham Palace in July.
A prelude to the award, and another royal accolade for the company, was a personal site visit by HRH the Duke of York last September, in his capacity as Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.
Prince Andrew was guided around the Eastbourne-based 25,000 square foot factory by Smith and Ouzman managing director Christopher Smith.
The Duke was introduced to two key clients who travelled from Kuwait and Ghana for the occasion.
Established in 1946, the firm has grown organically into a multi-million pound organisation and its international trade agreements include the Caribbean, Balkans, Middle East and more than 20 countries throughout Africa.
Christopher Smith said: "Our reputation and products are called for worldwide.
We are currently forging a fundamental market in Kuwait and will continue to identify further opportunities within our foreign trade network." Smith and Ouzman's security design and print specialities are split into four market segments - elections (53 per cent), examinations (38 per cent), financial (four perc ent) and immigration and registration (four per cent).
The firm provides full service management for its clients, including detailed analyses of requirements, full recommendation proposals and implementation plans.
Plans ordinarily constitute bespoke software, data management, management reporting and logistics, said the company.
The firm's security-printed documents are used for various applications including bank cheques, examination papers and certificates, visas, travel documents, personal ballots and electoral forms.
