All major commercial coating processes used today and their benefits will be discussed during a web coating and drying seminar to be staged by Seminars For Engineers on December 12 and 13.
Seminars For Engineers, a division of Sensor Products, will stage the event in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA) at the Hilton Executive Park Hotel Delegates at the seminar will also learn about considering the materials used to produce the finished product

Web Handling and Converting, to be staged by Sensor Products, is a seminar that is said to offer the chance for delegates to learn web handling techniques.
All major forms of convective and radiant methods of heat transfer for drying and curing will also be presented.
Though theory is included, emphasis will be placed on practical problem solving techniques for the plant engineer, said Seminars For Engineers.
The course will be led by Guy Gooding and Chuck Lincoln.
Gooding consults on drying process and applications within the paper, converting and related industries and he has worked as senior applications engineer and technical director for Megtec Systems, Thermo Electron and other dryer manufacturers.
Lincoln is the North American sales manager for Mahlo America, a German company that manufacturers quality control systems.

Focusing on specialised engineering topics, the two day technical courses it organises are said to be designed to disseminate the most current and comprehensive information available and provide practical problem solving techniques for various manufacturing and research and development personnel.
