Publicis Erlangen Munich will use the Softcare K4 software to help the communications agency streamline its Adobe InDesign production processes.

Publicis Erlangen Munich will use the Softcare K4 software to help the communications agency streamline its Adobe InDesign production processes.

With the system, Publicis will be able to work more efficiently and, therefore, respond with greater flexibility to its customers' needs, said Softcare.

K4 System Integrator Sysypro is in charge of product implementation and training.

Olaf Wolff, head of corporate publishing at Publicis, said: "Being quick to respond and flexible in adapting to new requirements is essential in editorial workflows, especially when working with large international customers as we do.

However, this should neither affect the security and quality, nor the creativity that our customers have come to expect from us.

This is why we have opted for Softcare K4." With its claimed ease of use, multi-level security controls and customisation options, K4 will structure the production workflow for the customers and the internal editorial, design and production teams at Publicis.

All parties involved in the production process will work together, hand in hand, even across different locations, internationally and with multi-language publications, added softcare.

With K4's technology already in use at large publishing houses, the corporate publishing service provider will be able produce all its customers' publications as well as realise new projects without compromising on creativity, added the company.

Andreas Schrader, managing director at Softcare, said: "We are delighted that Publicis has made the move to K4.

We can now count another renowned international communications agency among the growing K4 user community.

This shows once again that K4 is a perfect fit, not only for newspapers and magazines that it is also exceptionally suitable for creating multi-language brochures and annual reports.".
