Softcare's Overset Manager and Notes Manager are now available for Adobe Creative Suite 3 and are claimed to provide users total control over text length and overset with text-intensive files.

Overset Manager is said to give users complete control over text length and text overset, enabling them to count, display, edit and print overset text With this plug-in, users can choose to show or hide overset frames automatically for the selected text thread or all text threads on the page

Notes Manager is claimed to improve the native in-line notes feature in Adobe InDesign and InCopy, allowing users to filter notes by date and name and displaying all notes in a list view.

Additionally, both plug-ins remain compatible with InDesign CS2 and InCopy CS2, added Softcare.

In addition, Notes Manager is also said to enhance the standard Adobe InDesign and InCopy notes feature with its own palette.

The software plug-in offers filters for displaying notes created by a specific user, or notes edited within a certain period, offering an overview of all relevant notes and allowing users to work more efficiently with the notes.

The plug-ins are now available for InDesign and InCopy CS2 and CS3 for Mac OS X and Windows from plug-in stores worldwide.

Both plug-ins work with the Softcare K4 and Softcare K2 editorial systems.
