Filetransfer and Square Group special offer
Filetransfer.co.uk and Square Group have today announced a special offer for visitors to Digital Print World from 17-19 October at Earl's Court.
Stingray will handle ISDN, FTP and IP-IP data transmission between certain clients and Printsure and offers a simple workflow system for artwork submission, delivery and receipt - delivering client-side pre-flight checking, said Square Group.
Stingray is said to bridge the gap between ISDN, FTP and IP-IP in one unit.
Its web-based management is claimed to allow any authorised user on the network to monitor progress or collect and deliver files to any ISDN or other Stingray user.
Printsure works by checking PDF files prior to transmission against a pre-defined list of configurable parameters (including pass4press), with features including file and folder upload without pre-flight checking, automatic login link for client installation and automatic operating system detection, added the company.
Andy Reynoldson of Polestar Greaves commented: "Both these products are cost effective tools for streamlining crucial elements of the production workflow.
We receive large volumes of files from clients and by installing Printsure and Stingray, we can ensure these files are handled in the most efficient manner.".
