Water-Based Laminates For Short-Run Work
The water-based Print Shield laminates range for cold, pressure-sensitive applications have been re-engineered and expanded by Seal Graphics.
The inclusion of twin heated rollers, pull rollers and cooling fans means the 80 Pro offers users the ability to encapsulate wide prints while the outfeed slitters (situated alongside the exit nip rollers), allow operators to trim the sides of images on the run.
Designed with a high-pressure nip system, drop-in autogrip shafts and flip-up pull rollers, operators will find the machine extremely easy to use and control from the articulated arm, which extends to the centre of the machine and provides adjustments for speed and direction.
The new laminator also encompasses an integrated feed table that will become a standard feature on the new breed of Seal machines.
This includes a flip-up trough at the front to accommodate small rolls of inkjet prints, as well as retractable tensioning rollers in the middle of the table for easier feeding.
