Creating Bubble-Free Indoor and Outdoor Displays

A Seal Graphics Europe product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jun 6, 2007

A new vinyl is claimed to make it easier for even unskilled operators to create bubble-free vehicle graphics and rigid indoor and outdoor display panels.

Inkjet Solvent Premier Vinyl Airmount from Seal Graphics is claimed to have an adhesive with an internal structure containing fine channels that allow the air to flow out in the application process.

That enables operators to apply with confidence and ease over flat or slightly contoured surfaces.

Seal said that Inkjet Solvent Premier Vinyl Airmount is a gloss white polymeric vinyl with a permanent, dark grey adhesive that has been designed for solvent inkjet printers that do not require coated media.

For more demanding outdoor applications, such as vehicle graphics or rigid signs, Seal added that it recommends that the new vinyl is used in conjunction with Aquaseal liquid laminates to provide maximum protection and ensure the longevity of the digital image.
