Sophistication
The new 44 Ultra Plus and 62 Ultra Plus laminating systems from Seal Graphics are claimed to be entry-level machines suitable for first-time users.
Seal Graphics said that the machines provide enough sophistication to be suitable for volume-oriented operations The 44 Ultra Plus is said to be capable of mounting, laminating and encapsulating digitally and photographically produced graphics up to 1,115mm (44") wide, whilst the 62 Ultra Plus will take widths up to 1,550mm (61")

The inclusion of a powered rewind station means the Ultra Plus machines also handle pressure sensitive materials, added Seal Graphics.
Both laminators are also claimed to be capable of handling substrates up to 12.5mm thick at speeds of 2.13 metres per minute.
Each incorporates top and bottom heated rollers, which are switchable to top-heat only if required, with three temperature settings to suit different films and adhesives.
The new models feature a foot control for hands-free operation and a substrate feed, whilst it has a claimed ability to handle wide, heavy materials.
The 62 Ultra Plus also has a roll capture mechanism for consumables handling.
