The water-based Print Shield laminates range for cold, pressure-sensitive applications have been re-engineered and expanded by Seal Graphics.

Typically, the laminates are for short-run, quick turn-around items such as point of sale and other promotional uses and the range offers three to four years' durability outdoors, said Seal Graphics.

The improved PS Base of the laminates is described as an affordable film that is newly available in a lustre finish, as well as matte and gloss, which will provide protection for up to two years, added the company.

PS Plus is a new film in matte, gloss and lustre finishes that can be offered to end-users warranted for up to two years of life.

It is claimed to be suitable for everyday usage where the finished graphic requires additional protection from dirt and abrasion and there is a need greater longevity.

The newly-developed PS Premium now offers an outdoor life of between three and four years, said Seal.

It is also available in a choice of three finishes and provides protection for graphics products produced to remain in-situ for some time.
