SOS (NW) has just completed its latest CTP installation at the Kingson Carton Company in Hull (UK) The system included a B1 Screen PT-R8300 with Autoloader, Artpro packaging software, complemented by GMG Colorproof with Epson Stylus Pro 9800 systems
The PT-R8300 continues a line of thermal imaging engines from Screen, claimed to be able to run the latest processed and processless plate technologies.
One of Kingston's major requirements was to improve print quality after investing in a new B1 Roland press.
By using Screen's Spekta screening, the company is already producing superior print and colour packaging, said SOS.
