Duplex Digital Printers Boost Firm's
Capacity
Stralfors UK has bought the Xerox Nuvera 288EA and 144EA digital printers for its Orpington office to strengthen its printing capabilities and fulfil clients requirements.
This latest investment follows the installation by Stralfors of Xerox's iGen 3 digital presses The Xerox Nuvera 288EA digital printer is claimed to be capable of producing 288 A4 impressions per minute (144 two-sided pages), which is also claimed to be the industry's fastest cut sheet duplex printing system

The printers' compatibility with a range of materials means that the Nuvera range is appropriate to further increase Stralfors' printing capacity and ability to print on coated paper stocks, said the company.
That ability has already enabled Stralfors to win one new client which it would not have been able to support with the existing technology, it said.
At a claimed resolution of 4,800 dots per inch (dpi) x 600dpi and 156 lines per inch, the machine is also said to be the highest resolution mono digital production system on the market.
With image quality that Stralfors said is equivalent to offset printing standards the Nuvera 288 can produce bills, statements and other graphic-intensive documents.
The Nuvera 288 utilises Xerox's chemically grown EA Toner, which is said to need less energy to manufacture and generates less waste than traditional toner.
Tony Plummer, Stralfors UK's operations director, said: "The Nuvera range clearly produces excellent quality output at high speeds, which will enable us to respond to new business and emerging market requirements.
The flexibility to handle previously challenging paper stocks is also a big operational bonus, whilst the unrivalled duplex printing efficiency of the Nuvera makes it the ideal addition to our current selection of printers.".
