A multi-media campaign created by Sterling is set to go live on September 26 when The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) launches its careers website and prospectus guide.

Sterling's education and recruitment marketing experience and its multi-media expertise were instrumental in winning this project, valued at £50,000, said the company.

The campaign targets individuals at school and university as well as those already at work who may be considering a career in surveying.

Sterling carried out all creative, new photography, programming and print in house.

An interactive CD-ROM was also produced, incorporating a complete search facility for each location along with course information that is inserted in the front of the printed prospectus.

All three items carry the new creative theme developed by Sterling's London studio.

Chris Timm, the marketing director for Sterling commented: "This project is a great example our ability to provide creative and innovative multi-channel communications using our complete range of in-house design, new media, print and production services." RICS' head of Mmrketing, Chris Levy, said: "Many professional bodies run the risk of becoming complacent in their vision for the future of their sector.

Recruitment drives are not only important for the future but to also ensure that the right calibre of candidates enters the profession, it all helps with our status and profile agenda." He continued: "RICS has seen an increase of over 150 per cent in student members in the past two years.

Working with Sterling has proved to be a success with tailored, relevant and aspirational marketing campaigns.

Their market understanding and creativity continue to underpin our recruitment strategies in a competitive global market.".
