Rotary Screen Printing Systems At Labelexpo
The range of new products from Stork Prints that will be on display at Labelexpo Americas will demonstrate the company's rotary screen printing equipment and application support.
Thanks to a tough vinyl ester outer skin, the sleeves maintain their stability and ensure total indicator reading (TIR) of within 20um, even under extreme humidity and high temperatures on the press, added the company.
That is said to provide a firm basis for consistently high, repeatable print-register results, over a long lifespan.
The cushion sleeves also provide improved quality by ensuring consistent compression over the full print width.
Available in all standard lengths used in the narrow web market, the sleeves are claimed to be compatible with almost all new-generation flexo-printing systems.
The company added that demand for sleeves has grown because they offer a higher productivity alternative to conventional roller technology, especially on short-run applications.
As a subsidiary of Stork Prints, the rotary screen and direct laser engraving technology developer, AKL is backed by a distribution network across five continents.
That means the company can offer support and application knowledge around the world.
In many cases, AKL offers lead-times of only two weeks, it is claimed.
The Warburg (Germany) company has specialised in printing sleeve systems for digital and conventional printing forme applications since 1990.
As well as mounting sleeves, the company also supplies bridge and anilox sleeves, and washing adapters. Request a free brochure from Stork Prints ...
