The inkjet printer allows Service Business Forms to address a variety of postcards and envelopes up to C4 size, which complements the company's three reel-fed lasers.

They are used to address direct mail documents that are then enclosed in to window envelopes.

The AMS system is said to be fast to set-up and can run at speeds of more than 8,000 pieces per hour, on all types of self-seal and gummed envelopes, as well as postcards up to 350gsm with ease, said Service Business Forms.

The company handles direct mail production for a number of print management companies.

In addition to data processing and manipulation, the trade printer offers double sided personalisation on its Nipson laser line, which it said has been well received by a growing number of direct mail users that need to produce variable print on both sides of their mailings.
