He will be responsible for the development of Symbian's bespoke management information system.

Previously employed by Access Plus, a print management company with offices across the UK, Deacon takes to Symbian his experience in supplier contracts and service level agreements.

Symbian Print Intelligence Limited was acquired by Media Square plc and began trading as part of the group in August 2005.

The company supplies publishers, mail order companies and retail groups throughout the UK, Scandinavia and Eire.

Symbian said that it is growing its customer base in to new markets at home and overseas, including a new office in Spain, which opened in December.
