Systect Converting has introduced the Star HT range of plate mounters that integrate the VP-Vision Plus range.

The firm, which designs all mechanical components, electronic components and related software in-house, said it has developed a new product philosophy aimed at innovation and problem solving as a function of customers' requirements.

The new Star HT plate mounters are claimed to be aimed at making plate mounting as fast and simple as possible.

Rapidity is granted by a patented manual or motorised reading method for the camera position.

The plate mounters are fitted with a new rigid mechanical frame with what is described as dynamic compensation of thermal expansions, in order to grant maximum accuracy said the company.

The system versatility is further emphasised by what Syst Tec claimed to be its exclusive Virtual Image system, with new patented features that allow for the mounting of plates with no reference (crosses, microdots) and for the print proof simulation on screen (Virtual Proof).

The company believes that in that way, the system allows users to verify correct alignment of all plates.

Star HT devices can be constantly updated in all software and hardware functions, allowing printers to always have an updated, competitive and high efficiency product claimed Sys Tec.

The plate mounters are available in different mechanical configurations - for cylinders, sleeves, universal (cylinders, plus sleeves), narrow web and labels.

The products will also be on show at the Sys Tec stand - 1009 - at the CMM Show.
