The main drum is designed for using the Mylard plastic sheet for plate support, whilst the rotation of the drums is provided by electronic drivers, that allows the possibility to have a proof with 1:1 ratio, said Systec Converting.

Moreover, the company said that it is possible to draw the shape of the box on the proof drum, through an 'wizard' interface, or by retrieving the file from the user's private LAN.

The machine is equipped with two autofocus colour cameras with a 270x zoom and it features a Star HT camera movement with motors, which is said to permit the reading method for the camera position without connection of mechanical parts.

There is also a virtual image system, for the mounting of the plates without marking-crosses or references and includes a Photo-Split with multi-language interface.

Main technical features include a fully electronic drums rotation with electronics servo-drivers, automatic drawing of the carton box shape on the drum, and the interface with 'wizard options' is based on Microsoft Windows.

The monitor is on a sliding on rail with electric movement and a 'disappearing' feature for use in proofing sessions.
