Tailored Solutions, the producer of Label Traxx for flexographic narrow web converters and printers, has broadened the capability of its software to support screen printing.
The software automatically prints a picking slip and shipping documentation when the customer enters an order.
The new Traxx Link module is claimed to handle hundreds of orders per day and automatically generates an error log so that problem orders can be viewed quickly and conveniently.
Problems are flagged immediately and email alerts are automatically sent to appropriate customer service personnel so that customers can be contacted.
Customers on credit hold, or with other problems, are automatically rejected and referred to a customer service representative.
In announcing the new module, Tailored Solutions president Ken Meinhardt commented: "The new Traxx Link module for our popular Label Traxx print business management software represents the ultimate in lean manufacturing concepts for label printers and converters.
They need only install a Biztalk server from Microsoft to filter incoming orders to fully utilise the module." He added: "Label Traxx customers who offer stock products will find this new module invaluable to their operations and can expect to realise significant savings in the area of order entry and follow-up." All Tailored Solutions software is designed for use on Macintosh and Windows platforms.
