Label print software allows shrink-sleeve printing

Tailored Solutions will show its Label Traxx flexographic print business management software with new package-printing features at Labelexpo Americas 2010 in Chicago, US, from 14-16 September.

The new package-printing features support special processes used in printing shrink sleeves and folding cartons, as well as multiple press and multiple process converting procedures.

This new software option is said to greatly simplify the estimating and running of jobs that pass through as many as four presses and a rewinder.

It also includes features for various intermediate processes on each job.

'As they move more and more into package printing, Label Traxx users find themselves running complex jobs on several presses, using many processes,' said Ken Meinhardt, Tailored Solutions president.

'Our new package printing option permits the accurate estimatation, management and recording of such jobs,' he added.
