Tech-ni-Fold stands up at Drupa

A Tech-ni-Fold product story

Tech-ni-Fold has said that Drupa has been its "coming of age" as a company.

It wasn't in Tech-ni-Fold's plans to sell off the stand but they sold 45 devices straight off the booth (mostly the new Tri-Creaser Fast Fit), mainly to German visitors that wanted to take the devices with them.

Twenty-one orders were signed for the new Turbo-Creaser in co-operation with the manufacturer's Agor SL of Spain.

This is the digital and Litho creasing, perforating and cutting device that runs at a speed of 18,000 copies per hour.

Tech-ni-Fold also received 36 serious distributorship requests from some interesting markets such as South America, the Middle East and Russia.

Numerous meetings were also held with machine manufacturers who wanted to sign OEM deals to add the Tech-ni-Fold products to their machines.

Graham Harris, managing director, said: "We spent over two years carefully planning for this major event and conducted regular in-house meetings to pay particular attention to detail.

"No stone was left unturned and I am delighted to say that it all paid off.

"The perception people had of us and our value to them increased enormously during the two-week exhibition and this was underlined by the crowded stand and the amount of time visitors stayed to see our new products in action".
