A Tech-ni-Fold product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team May 27, 2010

Tech-ni-Fold is to launch two digital creasing machines for the printing sector at Ipex 2010: the Creasestreamplus and the Creasestreamjunior.

The Creasestreamplus is an automatic modular print-finishing unit that offers up to nine choices of creases and three styles of special letterpress-quality micro-perforations.

Optional guillotine standard slitting and trimming are also available.

The multiple choices of finishing applications can be performed at speeds of up to 18,000 copies/hour and a special folding unit can be incorporated to complete the finishing process.

The Creasestreamplus produces up to nine crease styles to match any stock/print combination from 80-350gsm.

Specially formulated and rotary action rubber creasing matrix allows production output of up to 18,000 sheets/hour.

The machine produces flat, nearly invisible perforations that let sheets run through any laser printer or copier, and it can slit and trim to the quality of guillotine standards.

It produces simultaneous multiple crease, micro-perf and cutting without affecting speed and its feeder does not require noisy pumps or air flow system.

The machine's modular design allows users to easily add on multiple applications when required, including an adapted in-line folding unit (Foldstreaminline).

The Creasestreamjunior is the table-top, hand-fed version of the Creasestreamplus and offers similar applications, although this model is aimed at the short-run digital market.
