Helping Companies Choose Correct Board Grade

A The James McNaughton Group product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Apr 24, 2007

To stimulate interest in the James McNaughton Group's graphical board grades, the company has created the 'Food for Thought' a marketing tool.

McNaughton said its range of three board grades will help customers to make the right choice of one-sided boards.

Invercote G is said to provide print quality and ability to be folded.

The company added added that for consistency and reliability, Incada Silk is appropriate, whilst for economy without compromising on quality, Festival Board One is said to be suitable.

Tony Porter, McNaughton's group marketing director, said: "'Food for Thought' provides customers with the ability to view the print results achievable on three of our most popular graphical board ranges, enabling them to decide on the right product for each specific job and budget." 'Food for Thought' consists of an outer folder printed on Invercote Creato Matt 400gsm and 485mic, and contains A4 printed sample sheets of Incada Silk, Invercote G and Festival Board One 300gsm.

Each sample sheet has been printed four colour and matt laminated on the front, sealed on the reverse, with background information on the products, their typical applications and a range matrix.

As part of James McNaughton's environmental improvements and following its announcement concerning the group's move to carbon neutral printing, 'Food for Thought' has been produced using carbon neutral print production.

Porter said: "As a Group, we have made significant progress over the past 12 months with our environmental activities.

We felt that by moving to carbon neutral print production it was another step to improve our environmental performance.".
