Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Oct 3, 2007

Following its chain of custody seminars in the UK, paper firm the James McNaughton Group has produced an updated version of its sustainable solutions brochure after high demand from seminar delegates.

It includes details of chain of custody for FSC and PEFC accreditations, recycled products, CO2 emmissions and carbon footprint, information on McNaughton's environmental product matrix and a glossary of environmental terms, as well as details of the company's environmental consultancy service.

It also demonstrates the work undertaken by the group in terms of its own corporate responsibility, including carbon offsetting and reduction.

Tony Porter James McNaughton Group's marketing director, said: "Designed and now updated to give our customers access to the growing amount of environmental information that we are asked for on a daily basis.

All this detail has been compiled in to a comprehensive 16-page guide to make it easy for our customers to refer to." Howard Browning, McNaughton's Director of Corporate Responsibility, added: "As a company we have embarked on a campaign to make our business better in many ways, which involves working in conjunction with organisations such as the Energy Saving Trust and Carbon Trust.

We have made significant strides already, details of which can also be found within the sustainable solutions brochure".

The company said that the brochure has been printed on the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) mixed sources certified products Take 2 Silk 300gsm (cover) and Era Silk 200gsm (text) and was produced using Carbon Neutral print production techniques.
