McNaughton Launch Carbon Neutral Papers

As part of its Sustainable Solutions programme the James McNaughton Group is now offering Carbon Neutral Paper, complementing the wide range of recycled, FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody products.

McNaughton are able to offer this optional service by calculating the emissions of the entire carbon footprint of their products, including the production and distribution to the final destination.

To check out the list of products available and to calculate the cost of carbon offsetting for each product, use the McNaughton carbon calculator, which can be found on the website.

McNaughton have also produced 'drive down your CO2 with Carbon Neutral paper', a new brochure explaining the Carbon Neutral offer, that is available to view or download from the website.

McNaughton has also implemented a number of carbon reduction initiatives as part of its Sustainable Solutions programme resulting in a significant reduction in the Group's CO2 emissions and now become a Carbon Neutral Company, which customers will notice through the use of the Carbon Neutral brand on McNaughton literature and collateral.

Porter added, "Being able to offer our customers the choice over whether they Carbon Offset their paper purchasing now gives our customers the chance to reduce their CO2 emissions as well".

Choosing Carbon Neutral paper for office and printed literature is a practical and affordable way to do something about the indirect emissions created by paper production and delivery processes.

Customers that choose to carbon offset their paper purchases will also be entitled to use the Carbon Neutral paper logo on printed work: The James McNaughton Group is proud of its growing environmental achievements and, through its ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System, is involved in a process of continuous improvement aimed at further reducing the environmental impact of its operations.

The Group is certified to both Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) schemes and is now a Carbon Neutral company.
