The James McNaughton Group is supporting the Printsells campaign in the UK, which aims to emphasise the benefits of print-based communications for brand, marketing, communications and advertising.

The Printsells initiative is a co-operation between the paper, publishing, printing and postal industries, together with the association of direct marketers, which is said to illustrate how print can give a brand's presence more power, credibility and versatility In the UK Printsells is being supported by the National Association of Paper Merchants (NAPM), whose president is James McNaughton Group chief executive, Ian George

George commented: "The ultimate goal of the campaign is to change people's perceptions and help them to realise that there tangible and rational benefits to using print as a communication medium." He added that McNaughton was aware of the misconceptions about the printing industry and the environment when printing is helping its customers to understand that the industry is truly sustainable, whilst the environment can play a pivotal role when it comes to the choice and use of printed material.
